【「市民の伊勢志摩サミット」終了致しました】
5月23日、24日に「市民の伊勢志摩サミット」を開催致しました。
ご来場いただいた皆さま、開催に伴いご協力いただいた関係者の皆さま、新聞やテレビ等で報道くださったマスメディアのみなさま、ありがとうございました。
2016年5月26日・27日に開催される伊勢志摩サミットに合わせ、日本内外のNGO/NPOが連携し、「力強い市民社会」の形成を 目指して、地域課題や国際的な課題をテーマにした提言づくり、国際社会、地域への発信を行うことを目的に「市民の伊勢志摩サミット(略称:市民サミット)」を開催します。
私たち市民にとってのG7伊勢志摩サミットの意味
2016年5月26・27日、三重県志摩市において、G7伊勢志摩サミットが開催されます。伊勢志摩サミットは、G7各国の政府首脳が、世界の重要課題を話し合う場です。世界の課題は地域の課題とつながっており、またその課題には、必ず草の根の市民が関わっています。
「市民の伊勢志摩サミット(略称:市民サミット)」は、主要国の政策に市民の視点が反映されるよう、開催地域、国内、海外のNPO/NGOが集まって、テーマごとに市民からの提言をまとめる場です。地域から世界へ市民が手をつなぎ、力強い市民社会を形成することで、よりよい地域づくり・国づくり・世界づくりへ貢献するため、市民サミットを開催します。

~Proposals from the citizens to the region
and the world~
In accordance with the G7 Summit held on 26th and 27th May in Ise-Shima, the NGO/NPO within and outside of Japan have come together to hold “The Citizens’ Ise-Shima
Summit” (Abbreviation:Citizens’ Summit), the aim of which is to
form a “Strong Civic Society”, raising proposals on both regional and international issues, in a bid to send a strong message to international communities, within Japan itself as well as the
region.
In these 2 days, the NGO/NPO will present their proposals on 15 themes including calamities, the Implementation of SDGs , education, Regional disparity and peace. The "Citizen Declaration" will
be adopted along with the proposal at the end. The written proposals and the citizen declaration will be presented to both local and international media during the “Voice from the Civic Society”
event that will take place on the opening of the International Media Center in Mie Prefecture Sun Arena from 25th onwards.

agriculture and respect for diversity
・Syrian refugees(documentary screenings / panel talk):
let us examine together the disastrous state of the Syrian conflicts
・Food security: The examination of ‘food security’ in close relation to ‘nutrition’
・Calamity:Relating the challenges faced by the citizens of Japan, a country with high levels of disasters, on activities in disaster prevention/disaster relief
・Children:in a bid to break the poverty chain for children
・Environment:In pursuit of enriching the watershed thinking~Ise Bay

18:45~20:00 Networking event:locally produced and fair trade food and drinks will be prepared

development Goals(SDGs):considering the action of ‘No one is left behind’ in a bid to achieve the
SDGs
・Peace:Proposals to achieve a world without wars and peaceful and inclusive societies
・Immigrants and refugees / Multicultural coexistence:What is Multicultural coexistence?…considerations on the current situations of migrants and refugees in the region
・Education:From ESD education for sustainable development to the enlightenment, practice and recommendations of SDGs
・Strong civic society:Starting from the participation and publication by the
citizens, to the sustainable future of the region and the world
12:00~13:30 Excursion Tour at the neighboring “Yokkaichi Pollution
and Environmental Museum for Future Awareness

●Performance
A performance that involves all participants using calligraphy will be conducted within the event venue
